Demystifying the Legal Profession Summit

The DLP Summit will be an immersive pre-law experience for a select number of aspiring law students who apply to the LSAM Program or are UPLIFT interns. For each summit, we will invite selected students to join us in a major city to have discussions with attorneys who are either (1) in-house counsel at top-tier corporations or (2) attorneys at an AmLaw 100 law firm. The purpose of the DLP Summit is to create a space for pre-law students to explore their curiosities about the legal profession and learn about the day-to-day lives of high-achieving attorneys. Beyond that, UPLIFT aims to show students, through the summit, that a career as an attorney is a challenging and rewarding path that is well within reach. Our goal is to make this an all-expense paid experience for attendees.
